Account & data deletion

MatchPoint uses an email account so your match history syncs across your devices. You can delete your account and everything tied to it from inside the app in under a minute. Here's exactly how, plus how to ask us if you'd like help.

What data exists

Your account (email), and your match history (scores, player labels, sport, dates, durations) stored on your device and synced to your private account in our cloud (Cloud Firestore, via Google/Firebase). Separately, any workouts MatchPoint saved into Apple Health stay in Apple Health.

01 Delete individual matches

To remove specific matches without erasing everything:

Open History

Tap the History tab in MatchPoint.

Swipe a match

Swipe left on any match card and tap Delete.

Confirm

The match is removed from your device and from your cloud history on your next sync.

02 Delete your account & all data

To permanently delete your account and everything stored with it:

Open the app menu

In MatchPoint on your iPhone, open the menu (top-left).

Tap “Delete Account”

Choose Delete Account, re-enter your password, and confirm.

Everything is erased

This permanently removes your account and sign-in, every match synced to our cloud, and your local history. It can't be undone.

Workouts already saved to Apple Health are not removed by this — they're your own Health data. See the next step to remove those.

03 Revoke Apple Health access

Health data lives in Apple Health, not in MatchPoint. To stop sharing and remove what MatchPoint wrote:

Open the Health app

Go to Profile → Privacy → Apps and choose MatchPoint.

Turn off access

Toggle off all categories, or tap Delete all data from MatchPoint to remove workouts it saved.

Turning off Health access only affects MatchPoint. Your other Apple Health data and workouts from other apps are untouched.

04 Request deletion by email

Prefer us to handle it, or can't access the app? Email support@marceloamoretti.com from your account email with the subject “Data deletion request”, and we'll delete your account and all associated data from our cloud and confirm when it's done.

Deletion is permanent
